In today's video, you will learn what can and can't be stored in your bathroom.
Usually, everything has its own place at home. Some people are used to keeping lots of things in the bathroom.
Do you have any of these items in yours?
It is common to keep personal objects in the bathroom to make it easier to use them.
However, this is the most humid place in the house, so there are some steps that you should follow.
Let's see some items that should never be kept in the bathroom:
Hamper No one disagrees that keeping the hamper in the bathroom is a great idea. It is practical to just put your dirty clothes there before showering and, after that, your towels too. However, increased humidity can cause mold and odors in the fabrics.
Feminine hygiene products Since humidity is common in the bathroom, it isn't really a good idea to keep feminine hygiene products, like intimate pads, in there.
Clean towels and bathrobes Don't keep them inside the bathroom since they will get slightly humid within time, besides being a potential place for bacteria.
Birth control and medications Both may not work if stored in hot or humid places. Even if kept intact in the packaging, they can still spoil faster since temperature changes can alter their chemical composition.
Nail polish and nail accessories Nail trimmers, scissors, tweezers, and metallic nail files will, sooner or later, start to rust if kept in the bathroom.
Did you know that? It happens even if you haven't used them yet.
Do you keep any of these items in your bathroom? Have you ever had any of the problems we mentioned?
