Hi Friends! There are two major classes of nutrients in food: macronutrients and micronutrients. Macronutrients take their name from the fact they make up the bulk of the nutrition in the food: carbohydrates, protein, and fat. Micronutrients are individual vitamins and minerals. Micronutrients can be divided into four categories: water-soluble vitamins, fat-soluble vitamins, microminerals, and trace minerals. With very few exceptions every species needs the same ones. Foods that are rich in vitamins and minerals is the best way for your body to get what it needs to be healthy. But you don't need to think about it and calculate them. Every species is naturally attracted to their natural diet, which provides them with everything they need. For humans it's the fruits. We are naturally attracted to color, smell and shape of a ripe fruit. It tastes delicious and satisfying, nourishes our bodies and help keep us healthy. Hope you find this video helpful!
