Many vegans go beyond diet to remove animal exploitation from their entire lifestyle. Theyβll avoid clothing made of wool and wonβt buy leather furniture. Nor will they buy cosmetics tested on animals or visit zoos. A vegan lifestyle prevents a tremendous amount of animal slaughter and suffering. It offers a potent way to shrink our environmental footprint, especially in regard to climate change.
