Hi Friends! It's important to find a way to shift deep programming, to let go of negative core beliefs, to incorporate new beliefs, to find a way to love yourself unconditionally. When people distract themselves, they are able to avoid facing their issues. and when they are not distracted, when they are alone - this is when stuff comes out. That's why people typically eat or keep themselves occupied, and don't just sit and be, because they can't handle that. What's needed is to take a look at the existing programming and decide whether it's something you wanna hang on to or not. If it's not, then let it go and incorporate new beliefs. It's not easy to do. But can be done. I was fifty years old, ten years ago, when I took a course and realized - I had walked around my whole life believing I wasn't lovable. I was never conscious of that belief until ten years ago. Now, I'm conscious of it, I've worked on it. But it's still there. The difference is, that when it rears its ugly head, I recognize it, I know that it's not true. That only works, when I'm conscious. When my buttons are pushed and I'm running on autopilot - I'm not capable of recognizing it. When I most need it, it's not available to me. But we can improve, we can start to move towards another way of being. Maybe we are never gonna become conscious all the time. But who is? We are all humans, we are all fallible, doing the best we can, dealing with the same deep programming. What do we do about it? We start by staying as conscious as possible in every moment and taking responsibility for everything that comes up. Our job is to find a way to fully accept every single aspect of ourselves. And it doesn't mean that we can't grow, that it's good enough, but it means that I'm ok as I am right now. And I'm always gonna work to do better, to be kinder, to be more loving, to be more gentle. Those two things can coexist.
