Hi Friends! 5 - 7 days of fasting is always going to be beneficial, but it is a superficial, surface level cleansing. You are cleaning out garbage in your bloodstream, you are starting the process, that your body simply doesn't have time to finish, so you are getting the early stages of it, you are getting some benefits from that. But you are not gonna get all the same results, that someone who is doing it for much longer is. There is going to be a dramatic difference! People fast for 1 or 2 days, especially if they are eating conventionally, and they notice a difference, just by giving the body break. Even the 20 hour break from last meal to the first meal of the next day your body has a chance to start doing some cleansing. So, giving your body 5 days is a huge break! It's just that you are leaving a lot on the table, there is a lot more that you could accomplish, if and when you give your body more time to accomplish it.
I've had people comment on some of my videos, saying "oh you don't need to go fast 21 days, just don't eat anything for 16 hours each day. Personally for 28 years i've been eating one or two meals a day. But when I break a bone, I don't keep doing just intermittent fasting. I stop eating entirely for 5 or 7, 15, 20 days, and it's incredible how fast the healing is. There is no comparison between intermittent fasting and therapeutic fasting. That's all for today!
